We pride ourselves on a wide range of informative speakers from all walks of healthcare and technology, plus those who can offer a unique perspective.

You will have the opportunity to hear success stories directly from our customers and a discussion with the Kings Fund as well as break-out sessions with InterSystems staff and our healthcare partners.

And we always have an engaging keynote speaker, such as Ben Goldacre, author of Bad Science, or last year's Sir Matthew Pinsent, four-time Olympic gold medallist, pictured.

We are in the process of developing an exciting agenda to inform and inspire out attendees. Presentations in previous years have covered such topics as GDPR and ensuring patient privacy, the realities of a solution implementation, and FHIR and the future of interoperability.

Focus topics for 2019 include:

  • Better information, better decisions
  • Sharing information across care settings
  • Achieving interoperability with competing local requirements
  • How can health and care work more closely together?
  • Empowering the patient
  • Long-term health & well-being in population health

This year's event is being held at The Vox, Birmingham, a purpose-bult, state-of-the-art venue that combines the expertise of the NEC with a fresh, modern perspective.

The award-winning venue is the perfect showcase for the innovation Joined-Up Health & Care hopes to inspire in our attendees.
